In a press conference, Governor Asa Hutchinson tells of World War I and Arkansans' participation then introduces an executive order establishing the Arkansas World War I centennial commemoration committee to support remembrance efforts. Director of the Department of Arkansas Heritage Stacy Hurst tells of the recent and successful Arkansas Civil War Sesquicentennial Committee and introduces architect Joe Weishaar, of Fayettville, Arkansas, who's design was selected as the national WWI Memorial in Washington, D.C. Governor Asa Hutchinson names Arkansas World War I centennial commemoration committee members and signs the executive order establishing the committee.
